Approximately 400 people attended the Bouknight & Wiley Family Christmas show on Dec. 20.

David Stewart Wiley, the music director and conductor of the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra, played the piano and was accompanied by son Misha on cello and wife Leah on vocals. Leah Wiley, a soprano, performed “Pie Jesu and Jesu Bambino.”

Philip and Tara Bouknight, both professionally trained and experienced with oratorio, performed “O, Holy Night” and “Mary, Did you Know,” among others.

The evening included a reading of “A Christmas Story” from 1914, followed by audience participation for a traditional sing-along of carols.
