Franklin County’s junior varsity football team takes an undefeated record and a seven-game winning streak into its debut game in the Blue Ridge District Thursday against Staunton River.

Kickoff at C.I. (Cy) Dillon Stadium is 6 p.m.

The Eagles (5-0) have not played since edging Hidden Valley, 26-20, on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Dwight Bogle Stadium.

Of FCHS’s five Blue Ridge District games, Thursday’s contest and an Halloween Night (Oct. 31) match-up against William Fleming are the Eagles’ only home ones.

FCHS visits Northside (Oct. 17), Lord Botetourt (Oct. 24) and William Byrd (Nov. 7).

BFMS plays season finale at home

Benjamin Franklin Middle School plays its final football game of the 2019 season Thursday at home against Patrick Henry’s middle school team.

Kickoff is 5 p.m.

The Eagles (3-3) saw a two-game winning streak stopped with last week’s 46-12 loss to William Fleming’s middle school team.
