BFMS places second to Halifax in nine-hole match

STUART — Benjamin Franklin Middle School’s golf team placed second to Halifax County Middle School in a nine-hole quad match contested Wednesday at Gordon Trent Golf Club.

The Eagles posted a 172 total.

Turning in counting scores for BFMS were Carson Moore (40), Lawson Pasley (41), Ethan Hahn (45) and Alex Shorter (46).

Scores carded by Christian Constable (46), Ty Forbes (49), Chase Bower (50), Kaleb Young (50), Tucker Harvey (50), Wes Hill (51), Jackson Spence (53), Cole Shockley (53), McKenna Castle (55) and Cole Landis (59) did not factor into BFMS’s total.

BFMS, led by head coach Bryan Forbes, completes its 2019 season Monday with a match at Greens Follly Golf Club in South Boston. Halifax County Middle School is the host team.
