After reading the article of June 28, 2019, regarding a rape at SML, I am incensed. The second paragraph reads “the officials said this was an isolated incident and there is no need for concern for the public’s safety.” Almost, words fail me. There is little human compassion shown for the victim, but there is great concern to reassure the public before the Fourth of July holiday for marketing purposes. Shame on the “officials.” And remember your stance on this situation when someone in your family is raped. Jackie Amos,
