On behalf of the faculty, staff, and student body of Franklin County High School, I would like to express my appreciation to the citizens of Franklin County for their continued support of our school. During the week of Sept. 18, we had an outpouring of generosity in our efforts to provide relief to the people of Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey.
As principal, I am incredibly proud of our students for initiating this relief effort. We were able to deliver two truckloads of much-needed supplies to Houston, which was distributed immediately to victims of this natural disaster.
In addition to this service, our school was also celebrating our annual homecoming events. Along with our scheduled game, we offered a carnival and homecoming parade for our students, as well as our community. We all here at Franklin County High School convey our gratitude to our alumni and other citizens of Franklin County for demonstrating Eagle pride by attending these events.
As always, thanks for encouraging and empowering the students of Franklin County Public Schools. I am extremely proud to serve as principal of Franklin County High School.
