The Hour of CODE

Submitted by Kathryn Teeter

Burnt Chimney Elementary School once again joined in a worldwide event this December by participating in The Hour of CODE. Kathryn Teeter, lab manager, spearheaded the event with the help of Burnt Chimney Librarian Michelle Dudley. Students in grades K-5 participated, joining students from around the world to learn how to do computer programming. The teachers said it was a fun week and the students really enjoyed coding.
