Dorothy Hall, 64, of Rocky Mount died Friday at the scene of a crash on Sontag Road, according to police.

According to a June 17 press release by Virginia State Police, the crash occurred Friday, June 14, just after 1 p.m. on Sontag Road, three tenths of a mile east of Va. 632 in Franklin County.

Police say Hall was driving east on Sontag Road when she drove across the center line and struck a west-bound vehicle. Police say Hall was not wearing her seatbelt and died at the scene of the crash.

There is no information on the occupant of the second vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation.
