Operation Christmas Tree

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office annual Operation Christmas Tree raised more than $5,900 to help fund children’s toys and food supplies to help local families in need. Each year the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office partners with Franklin County Public Schools to help make Christmas a little brighter for local families. Approximately 170 Fraser fir trees were sold this year. Carmen Del Cid of Roanoke picks out a Christmas tree with her sons, Harold, Yerick and Aaron.
