Miss Ag Fair 2019 winners

The Franklin County Agricultural Fair Pageant Committee announced the winners in the fifth annual Miss Franklin County Agricultural Fair Pageants that were held Aug. 10 at the Benjamin Franklin Middle School Auditorium in Rocky Mount.

The winners pictured include Beautiful Baby Age 0 to 12 months: Felicity Tyler; Beautiful Baby Age 13 to 23 months: LuLu Davis;Wee Baby Miss Ashlyn Hall;Little Miss, Kendra Vipperman; Young Miss, Savannah Fain; Pre-Teen Miss, Emily Adkins; Junior Miss, Alexus Carroll; Miss Franklin County Ag Fair, Zoe Belle Lowe;Ms. Crystal Perkins; Miss Spirit of Franklin County Ag Fair, Kya Pruitt;Young Miss Photogenic, Via Blake; and Miss Outgoing Personality, Kylee Woods.

Zoe Belle Lowe, 18, was named Miss Franklin County Agricultural Fair 2019. She is the daughter of Amanda Melton and Benjamin Lowe of Max Meadows.

After an internship this fall with designer Steven Yearick, she plans on enrolling at the Fashion Institute of Technology/State University of New York to major in Fashion Design. She was judged in the categories of evening gown, casual wear, private interview, onstage question, platform speech and photogenic.

She made and designed her own interview dress for this pageant and was named winner of the private interview competition.

She will represent Franklin County in the 2020 Miss Virginia Association of Fairs Pageant in January 2020 at Homestead Resort in Hot Springs.

All winners will receive free admission to the fair for the entire week.
