Moneta Lions donate to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia

Submitted by Robert Senoski

The Moneta Lions Club recently made its annual visit to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia in Roanoke. Each year, the club collects pull-top tabs that are recycled for money to support the Ronald McDonald House. In addition to this year’s tab donation, the Moneta Lions were joined by crafters from the Cave Spring District Lions who donated nearly four dozen homemade knit caps for children currently receiving treatment at Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital. Bart Matthies (from left), Mary Davis, Gloria Guice and Rob Senoski dropped off the handmade hats along with the tabs to the charity.
