Sheriff Bill Overton at Westlake

A safe place to dispose of unused prescription drugs is now available in Westlake. Franklin County Sheriff Bill Overton unveiled the new drug takeback box at the department’s Westlake substation on Oct. 1. Residents can stop by the substation at 13245 Booker T. Washington Highway during office hours, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to drop off medication in the box, which is located in the reception area.
