The missing Jeep was found Friday, Nov. 1. The investigation is ongoing.

The 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, reported stolen on Oct. 28 from behind The Franklin News-Post office, has been found.

Rocky Mount Police received a call about a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot and upon further investigation, it turned out to be the gray vehicle.

Police would not release further details because the investigation is ongoing.

The vehicle, owned by an employee of the newspaper, was parked behind the office around 4 p.m.

Two hours later, the employee walked outside and noticed the vehicle was missing.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Rocky Mount Police Department at 483-9275.
