Coding fun at Lee M. Waid

Submitted photo

Recently, students in all grades at Lee M. Waid learned about coding using Code & Go Mouse Robot Activity Sets. Christina Comer, the librarian at Lee M. Waid, won a $473.88 grant from the Virginia Professional Educators Association to purchase 12 kits. The students were able to create algorithms to help Colby the mouse reach the cheese in various mazes. Students will get to show their parents what they learned on Nov. 14 when Lee M. Waid has its STREAM Night.
