An emerging artist from Franklin County, Corey Law Hunley will perform at the Harvester Center in Rocky Mount on Friday, Sept. 5 at 8 p.m.
As a singer-songwriter focused on the acoustic, blues, and folk genres, Hunley draws inspiration from family legacy, good friends and life's obstacles when writing songs.
His music captures the spirit of lost innocence, as can be heard in his two previous albums, "Live at Kirk Avenue Music Hall" and "Where I'm supposed to Go."
His latest release, "Red to the Bone," shows his true songwriting craft.
Hunley has shared the stage with many of his musical heroes, including John Hiatt, Paul Thorn, Darrell Scott, Will Hoge, Chris Knight, Thompson Square & Uncle Kracker.
Tickets are on sale for $5 at the box office at 450 Franklin Street in Rocky Mount. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the show.
