A multiple sclerosis support group will meet from 12 to 2 p.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church. Bring a bagged lunch and drink.

The fourth annual Civil War Days will be held at LakeWatch Plantation Sept. 5-7 with military demonstrations, living history presentations, a fashion show and tea, and a variety of vendors. Camp will open daily at 9 a.m. For more information, visit http://www.VisitFranklinCountyVa.org.

A benefit for SML Good Neighbors will include mini-golf, barbecue and bluegrass at Hot Shots Family Fun Center. Tickets can be purchased online at smlgoodneighbors.org or at The General Store on Scruggs Road.
