Patrick Henry Community College at Franklin County will offer courses in emergency medical services, English, information technology and more starting this fall.
Advisors will be available on Monday, July 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Franklin County off-campus site, located in The Franklin Center for Advanced Learning and Enterprise at 50 Claiborne Avenue in Rocky Mount.
To meet with an advisor, students must have completed an application to PHCC and taken the Virginia Placement Test, which can be taken on the main campus or at The Franklin Center.
Courses offered at The Franklin Center site this fall include Intro to Advanced Life Support; Advanced Life Support Trauma Care; Basic ECG (electrocardiograms) Recognition; College Composition I; Survey of World Literature I; Intro to Computer Applications and Concepts; Developmental Mathematics 1; and College Survival Skills.
