A Wirtz woman pleaded guilty Thursday in Franklin County Circuit Court to two charges of distribution of oxycodone.
Amy S. Cochran, 31, faces up to 40 years in prison on each charge.
The charges against Cochran stemmed from controlled buys of oxycodone, arranged by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
Franklin County Commonwealth's Attorney Tim Allen said the first controlled buy occurred on Aug. 21, 2012, when Cochran sold four pills for $75 at a convenience store in Rocky Mount.
The second buy occurred on Aug. 24, 2012, when she sold four pills for $80 at a convenience store in Burnt Chimney, Allen said.
A sentencing hearing for Cochran is set for May 8 at 3 p.m. in circuit court.
