Construction in Franklin County dipped in November with an decrease in building permits over the number of permits issued in the same month last year.
A report by the county building inspections department shows that 75 building permits were issued in November, down from 88 in November 2012.
The report also shows that the value of all building permits issued in November totaled $3,457,504, down from $5,463,026 in November 2012.
Seven building permits were issued in November for new residential homes with a total value of $1,933,350.
Manufactured home permits (single and doublewide homes) totaled two in November, and building permits issued for additions and alterations and accessory buildings totaled 27.
A total of 556 inspections were conducted in November, and fees collected from all permits issued in November totaled $19,633.
Inspectors drove 6,045 miles in November to conduct construction inspections.
