Harmeneers ready to present annual show

The Smith Mountain Lake Harmeneers barbershop chorus is ready to present the group's annual show.

"Harmony At The Hop" will treat audiences to a medley of 50s hits and several performances of old songs by its chorus quartets.

In Lynchburg, The Harmeneers' performance will be presented at Timber Lake United Methodist Church on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.

In Moneta, there will be two performances on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Ecumenical Parish. These shows will feature the Youth Reclamation Project.

Advance tickets are available in Moneta at Radioshack, Smith Mountain Lake Visitors Center and at The General Store and at Bedford Welcome Center. In Lynchburg, tickets are available at Givens Books and the Harmony Homes & Land Office on WaterLick Road.

Advance tickets are $8 for Lynchburg and $10 for Moneta. Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by adults.
