A Callaway man was indicted on four felony cocaine charges in February after investigators seized evidence during a search of his home.
Herman Matthew Via, 71, is charged with four counts of distribution of cocaine.
The indictments remained sealed by the court until lab analysis had been completed, according to Sgt. Tim Taylor with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
Via allegedly sold cocaine on four occasions during controlled purchases organized by the sheriff's office on Aug. 29, 2012, Sept. 6, 2012, Oct. 12, 2012, and Nov. 29, 2012, Taylor said.
Investigators seized evidence from Via's home on Bethany Road while executing a search warrant on Nov. 30, 2012, Taylor said.
A Rocky Mount woman, 41-year-old Cheryl Lynn Witcher, is also charged with four counts of distribution of cocaine in connection with the case, Taylor said. The controlled purchases were allegedly made at her former residence on Ball Park Road.
Via and Witcher's trials are set in Franklin County Circuit Court on June 24 at 9 a.m.
