MARTINSVILLE -- David Sicher and Ethan Power each tallied two goals Friday night to lead Franklin County's boys' varsity soccer team to a 5-0 non-district victory over Martinsville at Dan Greene Memorial Stadium.
With the win, its first of the season, FCHS (1-2) ends a three-match losing streak dating to last year.
The Bulldogs (0-1) lost their 2013 season opener.
Alejandro Castenada also scored for the Eagles.
Sicher distributed two assists, while Conor Hardy and Chris Bede each passed out an assist.
First-year FCHS goalkeeper Seth Jordan finished the match with six saves |
