LYNCHBURG -- Wednesday's non-conference baseball game between Ferrum College and Lynchburg College was postponed due to snow and rain in the Lynchburg area.
No make-up date has been set.
It's the second non-conference game in as many days that has been postponed because of the weather; Tuesday's contest at Emory and Henry College also was postponed.
The Panthers and the Hornets are scheduled to play Friday, April 19 at W.B. Adams Field.
Ferrum (3-9 in the USA South Athletic Conference, 7-10 overall) returns to action this weekend with a three-game league series at Maryville (Tenn.) College.
The series opens with a doubleheader Saturday, followed by a single game on Sunday.
Game one of the series starts at noon. |
