BRIDGEWATER -- Ferrum College's men's lacrosse team extended a program-best winning streak to five matches Tuesday with a 14-6 non-conference triumph over Bridgewater College.
The Panthers (5-2) got three goals each from Tyler Poage and Daniel Batong and two each from Will Walter and Nick Smith.
Ferrum netminder Damian Pulos registered 12 saves.
Ferrum led 2-1 after the first quarter, 6-2 at halftime and 11-3 after three periods of play.
Bridgewater netted half of its goals in the final, 15-minute stanza.
Six players accounted for the Eagles' goals.
Also scoring for Ferrum were Andrew Senft, Ethan Wakefield, Dylan Burdick and Alex Rice.
Senft distributed three assists and Smith passed out two.
Ferrum outshot Bridgewater 39-29.
The Panthers are one win shy from matching their victory total (6) from each of their first two years of intercollegiate play.
Ferrum returns to action Saturday against Hampden-Sydney College.
Match time at W.B. Adams Stadium is 1 p.m.
The Tigers defeated the Panthers, 14-3, last year in the first meeting between the two teams in men's lacrosse.
