Franklin County will again offer the public an opportunity to buy county surplus or salvaged vehicles online.
Mike Thurman, director of facilities, said 21 vehicles will be posted on the GovDeals.com beginning March 11.
The vehicles will be advertised for about 10 days, and online bidding can be done until the listed close date, Thurman said.
Persons wishing to bid on the vehicles must register and create an account by clicking on the "Register" icon at the top right corner of the screen. Once registration is complete, bidding will be allowed on any items listed on the GovDeals.com website.
All vehicles are sold "as is" with no warranties, and all sales are final, Thurman said.
County employees and their immediate families are not allowed to bid.
Interested bidders are encouraged to view the vehicles prior to bidding on the dates listed on the site advertisement. |
