Fishing teams are being sought to participate in a tournament at Parkway Marina on Saturday, March 30 to raise money for the Virginia Special Olympics.
The fishing tournament is presented by Angler's Choice Marina in association with the Virginia State Police and Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
The tournament is a two-man format with Angler's Choice Tournament Trail Rules applying and running from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Preregistration cost is $120 per boat and includes $20 for big fish pots (big largemouth and smallmouth -- 2 different 50/50 pots). Preregistration entries must be postmarked by March 25.
Teams may register on the day of the event, but the cost will be $140 per boat.
There will be a 70-percent payback based on entry fees for the event with the number of places paid contingent upon the number of boats entered in the tournament.
