| USA South tournament pairings are set |

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The 2013 USA South Athletic Conference women's basketball tournament begins Friday at the Crown Center Arena with four quarterfinal games.
At 11 a.m., reigning league champion and No. 1 tournament seed Ferrum College takes on No. 8 seed Averett University.
At 1 p.m., No. 4 seed North Carolina Wesleyan College plays No. 5 seed Methodist University.
At 3 p.m., No. 2 seed Christopher Newport University (CNU) faces No. 7 seed Greensboro (N.C.) College.
At 5 p.m, No. 3 seed Maryville (Tenn.) College is matched against No. 6 seed LaGrange (Ga.) College.
Saturday's semifinals pit the winner of the Ferrum-Averett game against the winner of the N.C. Wesleyan-Methodist game at 1 p.m. and the winner of the CNU-Greensboro game against the winner of the Maryville-LaGrange game at 3 p.m.
Sunday's championship game tips off at 2 p.m.
Conference teams Piedmont (Ga.) College, Meredith (N.C.) College, William Peace (N.C.) University and Mary Baldwin College failed to qualify for postseason play as only the league's top eight teams earned tournament bids.
The winner of the tournament receives the USA South's automatic berth in the NCAA Division III tournament.
