Applications for scholarships are now available for Franklin County High School and Staunton River High School students applying for admission to a university or college, including community college or vocational school.
The Smith Mountain Lake Rotary Club scholarships are $750 per year for the first year with a possible renewal of $750 for a second year, provided the student maintains a 3.0 GPA for the first year.
Applications can be requested from guidance counselors Susan Layne at Franklin County High School and Maggie Mills at Staunton River.
Applications should be completed and mailed no later than April 1.
