A Rocky Mount man faces up to 120 years in prison after pleading guilty last week in Franklin County Circuit Court to three counts of cocaine distribution.
Stephon Darriel Davis Jr., 24, was also charged with distribution of imitation cocaine, but that charge was dismissed through a plea agreement.
Davis sold cocaine on three occasions -- June 18, 22 and July 25, 2012, according to court records.
The cocaine buys were organized by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, according to Sgt. Tim Taylor. Once the buys were made, authorities executed a search warrant at Davis' apartment on Diamond Avenue.
Each of the three charges carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison, and a minimum sentence of five years.
The sentencing hearing is set for March 26 at 3:30 p.m. in Franklin County Circuit Court. |
