| Knights rout Life Academy by 55 points |

ROANOKE -- Christian Heritage Academy got points from all 10 of its players and netted a season-best points total Tuesday night in a 55-point, 94-39, non-district boys' varsity basketball rout of Life Academy.
The Knights' victory is their second this season over Life Academy.
CHA (1-5 in the Virginia Association of Christian Athletics (VACA) Southwest District, 3-6 overall) surpassed the 20-point mark in each quarter.
The Knights jumped out to a 21-8 lead after the first quarter and expanded their lead to 23 points, 43-20, at intermission courtesy of a 22-12 second-stanza spurt.
A 22-7 third-quarter blitz by CHA pushed the spread to 38 points, 65-27.
The Knights finished the rout by winning the fourth quarter 29-12.
Life Academy employed five players.
Trevor Frazier tallied a team-best 17 points to lead Life Academy, a first-year team.
Four others scored one of whom finished in double figures with 11 points.
Joseph Keenan paced CHA with a game-best 21 points. He swished six 3-point field goals.
Kenny Toomey, with 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Jeremiah Stocker, with 13 points and 12 rebounds, registered double-doubles for the Knights, and Story Woolson finished with 13 points.
Also scoring were Cameron Ross (two 3-pointers) with nine points, Garrison Jamison and Zenya Andersen each with six, Timmy Moyer (one 3-pointer) with five points, Bronson Boone with three and Nathan Robinson with one.
Toomey blocked five shots.
Woolson passed out five assists and collected six steals.
