The Miss Greater Franklin County Scholarship Pageant Committee announces its search for contestants for the 10th annual Tiny Miss Greater Franklin County pageants.
The pageants will be held Saturday, April 27 in the Franklin County High School auditorium.
Winners will be named in six age divisions, including a new Baby Miss division for ages 2-3. Additional age divisions in this year's pageant will include: Mini Miss, ages 4-5; Tiny Miss, ages 6-7; Petite Miss, ages 8-9; Pre Teen, ages 10-12; and Teen Miss, ages 13-17.
In celebrating the pageant's 10th anniversary, winners from the last nine years will be recognized on stage during the pageant.
The winner of each age division will represent Franklin County in the 2013 Tiny Miss Virginia Pageant to be held July 26-28 in Charlottesville.
Only contestants who are residents of Franklin County are eligible to compete. The entry deadline is March 22.
The division in which a contestant competes in this local pageant will be determined by their age on July 26, 2013, per state rules.

The Miss Greater Franklin County Scholarship Pageant is a nonprofit organization run by local volunteers. Funds raised from these pageants will go toward the scholarship fund for the Miss Greater Franklin County Pageant, a preliminary to the Miss Virginia and Miss America pageants. |
