Samantha Lynne Tosh and Douglas Key Chang were married on Saturday, June 30, 2012, in Rocky Mount. The Rev. Matthew Ricks performed the ceremony, which was held at Rocky Mount Christian Church and followed by a reception at The Transportation Museum of Virginia in Roanoke.
Samantha is the daughter of Ronald and Sherry Tosh of Boones Mill. She is the granddaughter of Barbara Madison of Bedford and the late Herbert Flowers and of the late Doris Tosh. Key is the son of Vivian Chang Norkus of Rocky Mount and the late Spencer Chang. He is the grandson of Dove McCall of Rocky Mount and the late J. Douglas McCall and Lila Chang of South Pasadena, Calif., and the late Key H. Chang.
The bride was escorted by her father. Christina Tosh and Amy Nunn, sisters of the bride, served as maid of honor and matron of honor, respectively. Best man was Benjamin Hutto, childhood friend of the groom. Bridesmaids were Cay Lee Chang Ratliff, sister of the groom, Scotti Clark, Ashley Wimer, Kara Bernard, Emily Hicks, and Leslie LaForge. Groomsmen were Chad Ratliff, brother-in-law of the groom, Matthew Everhart, Jeff Parker, Benjamin Rakes, Mitch Chandler, Joey Cox and Trent Russell. Nicholas Overholt and Jared Hodges served as ushers. Flower girls were Maya Ratliff, niece of the groom, and Cora and Mackenzie Nunn, nieces of the bride. Mackenzie was escorted by her father, Kevin Nunn. Ring bearer was Spencer Ratliff, nephew of the groom. Music was provided by Denny, Fair, Gabe and Austin Robey.
The bride is a graduate of Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke and is an R.N. at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tenn. The groom is a graduate of Audio Recording Technology Institute in Orlando, Fla., and is a sound engineer with Dailey and Vincent in Nashville, Tenn.
Following a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple resides in Hendersonville, Tenn.
