A Rocky Mount man faces up to 120 years in prison for selling methamphetamine.
John Terry Scott, 51, pleaded guilty to three counts of distribution Tuesday in Franklin County Circuit Court.
Through a plea agreement, one charge of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute was dismissed.
The offenses occurred on April 26 and 27, 2012, when the Franklin County Sheriff's Office organized purchases from Scott, according to court records.
Each of the three charges of illegal drug distribution carries a maximum prison sentence of 40 years, and a minimum sentence of five years.
A presentence report was ordered by the court to be prepared before a sentencing hearing on March 26 at 3 p.m. in circuit court. |
