The 10th annual Member One Federal Credit Union-Time Technologies Hoops Classic, a three-game boys' varsity basketball showcase set for today at Samuel M. Hawkins-Central Gymnasium, has been canceled because of predicted inclement weather.
Games scheduled for this year's event were William Fleming versus Blue Ridge School, Bassett versus Liberty Christian Academy and Franklin County versus Lord Botetourt.
Schools in Franklin County are closed today due to weather.
The FCHS game has been reset for Saturday and will be played as part of a tripleheader that begins at 1 p.m. with a junior varsity girls' contest between the Eagles and Highland Springs.
At 2:30 p.m,, a varsity girls' game between FCHS and Highland Springs is scheduled, followed by the FCHS-Lord Botetourt boys' varsity game at 4 p.m.
