The Franklin County Board of Supervisors honored Patrick Lenez (second from right) with a resolution at the board's meeting Tuesday. Lenez saved the lives of a Boones Mill family in the early morning hours of Jan. 6 when he noticed a possible house fire off U.S. 220. He and his wife, Maggie, who were returning from Roanoke after taking their daughter to the airport, found the house and roused the family, leading them to safety as the fire was spreading to the house.
