SML Women’s Club to hold 15th annual GameFest event

The GFWC Smith Mountain Lake Women's Club will hold its annual GameFest fundraiser on Wednesday, March 20 at Trinity Ecumenical Parish in Moneta.

Proceeds from this event will benefit more than 20 local charities.

This will be the 15th year for the GameFest event.

Popular games include Bridge, canasta, mahjongg, marbles, Rook and cribbage.

Tickets are $20 and include snacks, beverages and a lunch provided by club members.

Door prizes will be awarded throughout the event. This year, the club will also have knitted and crocheted items for sale, as well as a used book table. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. Play will start at 10 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m. with a break for lunch.
