ROANOKE -- Parkway Christian Academy outscored Christian Heritage Academy 22-8 in the first quarter en route to a 71-44 Virginia Association of Christian Athletics (VACA) Southwest District boys' varsity basketball victory over the Knights Monday night.
CHA's loss is its second this season to Parkway Christian.
Parkway won the second stanza 12-6 to push the spread to 20 points, 34-14, at intermission.
A 20-9 third quarter run kept Parkway in control, 54-23.
CHA (1-3 in the VACA Southwest, 2-4 overall) took the fourth quarter 21-17.
Parkway Christian placed three players in double figures: Tyler Viette with 15, Lawrence Huff with 13 and T.J. Keaton with 11.
Huff swished three of Parkway's four 3-point field goals and Keaton hit the other one.
Five other players contributed points to Parkway's victory.
Story Woolson led CHA with 14 points. He was the Knights' lone double-figure scorer.
Also scoring were Joseph Keenan and Jeremiah Stocker each with nine points, Kenny Toomey with eight, Cameron Ross with three and Bronson Boone and Timmy Moyer each with one.
Keenan netted all nine of his points on three 3-point field goals and Ross hit a fourth trey for the Knights.
CHA plays league rival Roanoke Valley Christian School Thursday night at home. Tip off is 5 p.m.

TIP-INS: Parkway won the junior varsity game Monday night, 37-18.
CHA's jayvees were scheduled to play Roanoke Valley Christian School Tuesday at home.
