| Hairston, Crockett make all-tourney team |

BRISTOL, Tenn. -- Franklin County's Charmaine Hairston and Miranda Crockett have been selected to the all-tournament team at the Franklin (Doc) Maples Holiday Hoops Invitational, hosted by Tennessee High School.
In three games, Hairston, a senior scored 56 points -- a 18.7 points-per-game average.
Hairston netted 16 points in the Eagles' 67-32 win over Peal-Cohn (Tenn.), 23 points in a 67-60 loss to Tennessee High and 17 in a 67-41 triumph over Volunteer (Tenn.).
In three games, Crockett, a sophomore tallied 44 points -- a 14.7 points-per-game average.
Crockett scored 10 points in the win over Peal-Cohn, 13 points in the loss to Tennessee High and 21 points in the win over Volunteer. In that game, she pulled down 12 rebounds.
FCHS (7-3), which finished in fifth place in the 15th annual tournament, returns to action Wednesday when it opens Western Valley District play against Patrick Henry.
Tip off in Roanoke is 7 p.m.
