CHRISTIANSBURG -- Franklin County's boys' junior varsity basketball team netted a season-best point total and doubled Christiansburg's points output Friday night in routing the Blue Demons 76-38 in a non-district contest.

The victory is FCHS's second this season over Christiansburg and its third in a row.

Thursday, the Eagles (8-1) came within two points of doubling the spread in a 40-21 non-district victory over Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg.

In each of its eight victories this season, FCHS has held its opponent to 40 points or fewer.

FCHS returns to action Thursday against Brookville in the opening round of the Northside Invitational. Tip off in Roanoke is 12:45 p.m.
