A second man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a residence in the Woodale subdivision the day after Thanksgiving.
Kenneth Byron David, 30, of Rocky Mount is charged with armed robbery, malicious wounding and breaking and entering, according to Investigator Gary Shively with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
Kwame Tyron Muse, 23, of Rocky Mount is also charged with armed robbery, malicious wounding and breaking and entering in connection with the case, according to Lt. Todd Maxey.
The robbery occurred about 10 p.m. on Nov. 23 at a residence on Woodale Road when four men knocked at the door and forced their way inside the residence, Maxey said.
The four men assaulted the male resident and took cash and a firearm, Maxey said. A female was in the house but was not harmed.
Some of the men were wearing masks, and one was armed with a handgun, he added.
The investigation is continuing, Maxey said. Anyone with information should contact Shively at 483-3000. |
