A Rocky Mount man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a residence in Woodale subdivision last month.
Kwame Tyron Muse, 23, is charged with armed robbery, malicious wounding and breaking and entering, according to Lt. Todd Maxey with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.
The robbery occurred about 10 p.m. on Nov. 23 at a residence on Woodale Road when four men knocked at the door and forced their way inside the residence, Maxey said.
The four men assaulted the male resident and took cash and a firearm, Maxey said. A female resident was in the house but was not harmed.
Some of the men were wearing masks, and one was armed with a handgun, he added.
Muse is being held in the Franklin County Jail without bond, Maxey said.
The investigation is continuing, Maxey said. Anyone with information should contact Investigator Gary Shively at 483-3000. |
