| Christmas Clash is set for Dec. 22 |

Franklin County Eagles Youth Wrestling Club will host the 2012 Franklin County Christmas Clash on Saturday, Dec. 22 at Samuel M. Hawkins-Central Gymnasium.
Weigh-ins are from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
All wrestlers must weigh in during this two-hour time window.
Weigh-in uniform is singlet, no socks or shoes.
Wrestling starts at 10:30 a.m.
Tournament will follow Virginia High School League (VHSL) rules.
Bouts will be refereed by VHSL officials.
Individual awards will be presented for first place (trophies), second place (medals), third place (medals). Undefeated wrestler wins regardless of points.
Team trophies will be presented to the top three teams. Teams must pre-register be eligible.
Here is the list of divisions:
•Tot -- birth year 2007 and after; weight classes (in pounds) 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and heavyweight.
•Bantam -- birth year 2005/2006; weight classes (in pounds) 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 70, 75, 80, 90 and heavyweight.
•Midget -- birth year 2003/2004; weight classes (in pounds) 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 103, 122, 120, 130 and heavyweight.
•Novice -- birth year 2001/2002; weight classes (in pounds) 60, 65,70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 122, 120, 130, 140 and heavyweight.
•School boy -- birth year 1999/2000; weight classes (in pounds) 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 140, 150, 160, 180 and heavyweight.
•Cadet -- birth year 1997/1998; weight classes (in pounds) 84, 91, 98, 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220 and 285.
A round-robin format will be used in all tournament divisions. If deemed necessary, the tournament director reserves the right to combine or alter divisions and weight classes.
Pre-registration cost is $15, late registration cost is $20.
For pre-registration, wrestlers are asked to email the following information to fceaglesywc@gmail.com by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21: name, weight, date of birth and wrestling club.
