The Moneta-Smith Mountain Lake Library will host a Reindeer Christmas on Friday, Dec. 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Call 540-425-7004 by Nov. 30 to register your family to attend.

A breast cancer support group meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Discovery Shop.

The prostate support group will hold a Christmas party at 6 p.m. at Trinity Ecumenical Parish. Bring your spouse and a dish.
THURSDAY, DEC. 13
Runk & Pratt Senior Living Communities will host a Holiday Open House at Smith Mountain Lake Retirement from 3 to 7 p.m.
FRIDAY, DEC. 14
The Elks National Home will hold an official Christmas lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. and then be open each evening for viewing through Monday, Dec. 31 from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
Local author Don Fink will give talk about his new novel "Escape to the Sky" at the Westlake Library at 4 p.m. The book will be available for purchase.

Life for One will hold a Christmas party at 11 a.m. at Trinity Ecumenical Parish. Bring makings for a salad and soup will be provided. |
