Asia Swain of Rocky Mount and Dominique Quarles of Forest City, N.C., were married Oct.13 at the First Baptist Church in Forest City.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Phyllis Swain of Rocky Mount. She is the granddaughter of Joe and Darlene Swain of Rocky Mount. She is a student at Norfolk State College, now serving in the United States Navy, stationed in Norfolk.
The groom is the son of Rev. Stencil and Shirley Quarles of Forest City, N.C., and the grandson of Robert and Patrice Hamilton. He is a graduate of Western Carolina University of Celpullowhee, N.C., now serving in the United States Navy, stationed at Norfolk.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless A-line gown with fitted bodice and chiffon skirt with ruffles with beaded detail and a chapel length train and elbow length veil. She carried a bouquet of roses.
Bridesmaids were Shanteea Childress, Chasity Wade, Paris Swain, Patrice Quarles and Tracey Price. Flower girl was Vanessa Brown.
Groomsmen were Jermaine Lytle, Timale Petty, Jestin Jennings, Brandon Giles, Adrian Martin, Michael Shaw and Kevin Langley.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Williamsburg and reside in Norfolk. |
