The alzheimer's/ dementia caregiver support group will hold a meeting at 3 p.m. at Trinity Ecumenical Parish. Guest speakers will be Sherri McPeak and Pete Ippolito from Carilion Clinic on hospice-end stage dementia.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 5

The MS support group Christmas party will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church. Bring a dish.

THURSDAY, DEC. 6

The Willard Companies' annual holiday tree lighting and open house event at Westlake Towne Center will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The Moneta-Smith Mountain Lake Library will host a Reindeer Christmas on Friday, Dec. 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Call 540-425-7004 by Nov. 30 to register your family to attend.

The Elks National Home will hold an official Christmas lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. and then be open each evening for viewing through Monday, Dec. 31 from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
