The first-graders at Lee Waid Elementary celebrated Pumpkin Day by dressing as farmers and doing pumpkin-related activities. The students guessed the amount of candy corn in a jar, sorted candy bones, counted and measured pumpkins, and made graphs. The students had their faces painted and read pumpkins books.
