In-person absentee voting available Nov. 3 at local registrar’s office

The Franklin County Registrar's Office and other registrar's offices across the state will be open on Saturday, Nov. 3 for in-person absentee voting.

The local registrar's office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office is in the Franklin County Government Center on Route 40 West.

Voters must meet one of 17 eligibility requirements to vote absentee and complete an absentee ballot application.

The recent changes to the voter ID laws are applicable to those voting in-person absentee.

To vote absentee by mail, an absentee request application must be received by the voter's local registrar's office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
