A Rocky Mount man faces up to 120 years in prison after he pleaded guilty this week to three counts of selling methamphetamine.
Franklin Simon Pick, 45, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Franklin County Circuit Court to the three felony charges, each of which carries a sentence of five to 40 years in prison, according to Commonwealth's Attorney Tim Allen.
Through a plea agreement, two additional felony drug distribution charges against Pick were dismissed, Allen said.
In May, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office arranged controlled buys from Pick for more than 4 grams of methamphetamine for $470, Allen said.
The commonwealth also seized Pick's Jeep after proving he was using the sport utility vehicle to distribute drugs, Allen said. The vehicle will be used by the sheriff's office.
Judge W.N. Alexander II revoked Pick's bond. Pick will remain in the Franklin County Jail until his sentencing hearing on Dec. 11 at 3:30 p.m. |
