The "Lake Effects" movie can be viewed today (Friday, Sept. 28) at 1 p.m. at the Moneta/Smith Mountain Lake Library.
Viewers can participate in a prize drawing to celebrate the Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival on Sept. 29 and Sept. 30.
Door prize donations are courtesy of the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Bedford County wineries Hickory Hill Vineyards and Winery, Peaks of Otter Winery and Savoy-Lee Winery.
The lake chamber sponsors the wine festival, and the three vineyards are among those participating in the festival that will be held at LakeWatch Plantation.
Prizes for the drawing at the libraries include wine glasses, a wine festival t-shirt, a gift certificate for a wine tasting and a gift basket.
"Lake Effects" was filmed at Smith Mountain Lake and premiered nationwide on the Hallmark Movie Channel in May. |
