Michael and Linda Trochim of Ferrum are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Trochim, to Florent Bled, the son of Annick Bled of Brest, France, and the late Max Bled. Anna is a 2006 graduate of Franklin County High School and a 2010 graduate of Emory and Henry College. She is currently an educator at Living Classrooms in Washington, D.C. Florent completed his doctoral studies at the University of Paul Subatier in Toulouse, France. He is a researcher at Patuxent Wildlife Research Center in Maryland. The wedding will take place on Aug. 25 in Maryland.
