B-99 Radio recently stopped at McDonald's in Rocky Mount on its annual "Bikes for Tykes" tour. Amy Pendleton, shown in the middle of the "M" in the photo at left, waves to passing motorists from the extended bucket of the Rocky Mount Volunteer Fire Department's ladder truck. More bikes are needed to meet this year's goal of 1,123. The drive will end Friday, Dec. 18, with only three more stops on the schedule and many more bikes needed.
